Snake: Shield-nose Cobra (Aspidelaps scutatus intermedius)

This snake didn't look alive, but snakes do have a habit of playing 'possum'. I have no idea what this is.

Very nice photos!

This one is a shield-nose cobra (Aspidelaps scutatus intermedius).

Sorry for a late reply to your post, but that Shield cobra is an awesome sighting. I have yet to see a Shield cobra in the Kruger!!
