I would be greatful if someone could attempt to identify this snake.

Seen on the H4 near Nkulu in Jan 2011. Pics are slightly out of focus as I was concentrating on stopping the next car from running it over rather than adjusting the settings on my camera.

Sadly this snake was hit by another car as we drove up to it and I think death was instantaneous. We saw it in June this year at Tihongonyeni. Can anyone identify it for me?

Salamanda, to me it looks like a "Olive Grass Snake" :hmz:

Sad to see that they die like this. :(
