We'd like to add our heartfelt thanks to those who organized the cricket weekend. Kudos to everyone for putting on a first-rate event.

We were able to renew old friendships and make new ones. For those we didn't get a chance to speak to, there's always next time.

Our friends at home always ask why we keep returning to South Africa. Our response: the warm hospitality and the great sightings (Heksie: I think that male lion was bigger than your car. Mads: Please post those photos!).

This was our first visit in March which is at the (hopefully) end of our winter. It was a little warmer here than we expected.

Just another reason to visit

Thanks for everything.

Timbits and Nighthawk 2, it was really lovely to meet you both. :gflower:

I do hope that you start experiencing some warmer weather soon.

Barry & Hilda, we too are sorry we missed you it would have been great to meet up.
There is always next time....perhaps in Kalahari :D

Meandering Mouse, it was great to finally meet up with you.
We just heard they got 30cm of snow back home. Temperature reported to be -25C but warmed up to +6C (go figure).
Even with the floods, we'd rather be here! :D :D

Arrived home safely this evening.

Thanks to all the organisers, especially the grounds men for preparing the wicket under such trying circumstances.

When seeing the rest of the park, it is amazing that we actually got to play.

We had a 'smashing' trip

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this weekend possible, it was terrific.

It was great seeing some old friends and making some new ones.

For us cricketers to finally get a win was a fantastic feeling after trying for so long.

Very much Looking forward to next year.
