 Eish! And what a story to get two brutes into fishnet stockings and fake "curves" - laughing so much that we never heard a word!

This year's cricket was one of my most hectic trips ever to Kruger and it will be remembered with incredible fond memories! I think I even laughed in my sleep (hours I can count on one hand... ).

Often we tend to focus on all the "bad stuff" happening around us when we listen or read news, but this weekend filled me with such hope and positiveness.

From all over the WORLD, a group of people came together and each one in their own right made a difference. Meeting old friends and making new ones, it was not really the amount of money we made, but the goodwill and willingness that stays with me - it was the bonds and understanding, the happiness and sharing of a passion so much greater than all of us that counted and will count long after our laughter had become the smiles of of our children...

On behalf of the Cricket Planning Committee, I wish to thank each and every forum member who was involved in Cricket@Skukuza 2008 in one way or another - your initiatives and efforts all contributed to a most successful and happy event both on the ground and online! A 'team' effort of note!

To all the SANParks folk who supported the event and worked so hard to put it together - a huge thank you! We really do appreciate all you did! And it was great getting to know you all a little better

Nedret, Dianne, Rene and Lerato (the angels who put the whole event together), Frikkie (who did so much towards the games), Raymond (you think this man can write? Wait until you hear him make a speech!) Priya, Sandra, Nahashni, the cricket teams -the Northern Devils and Skukuza mens, the ladies who did the boerie rolls ... gosh so many helped make the weekend special - from the guys who put up the tents, braai'd the boerie, prepared the sports fields, carried tables, cooked and served the delicious dinner.... the IT man from Kruger who worked so hard to help get the cam up... so many gave such wonderful support.

Thank you to our hosts - Dr Mkhize, Kruger National Park and Skukuza Cricket Club and the Golf Club. What perfect venues

And from me to the rest of the Cricket Planning Committee - you guys did a great job! Thank you! Baffers, Freda, Tshukudu, Ralph vV, HippoPat, Meandering Mouse, Jose, Wild@Heart and Restio

To the members who ran special initiatives in separate topics in this forum - thank you, you are stars!

To all those who have donated prizes and money - thank you! We will be giving a couple more weeks for the donations to come in and then will acknowledge them.

Thanks to Muhammed for the generous gifts we well as donations and to Aboon, Cees and Corina, Boorgatspook for prizes donated.

To the Lowveld HRs - thank you for doing the display and your interest in the weekend!

Leaving anyone off this post is unforgivable - please assist me should I have done so!

Ja, it was a lag, hey! Seeing Deville in his (in sy ere drag) "drag" wear was just too funny.

Normally a guy would try to get a girl out of her stockings. But this time it was Andrea trying to get me into MY stockings.

I just want to mention that I can't understand why, as they have so many holes in them, but fishnet stockings are probably the hottest thing I've even worn.

Should I rather have replaced the word hottest with warmest? :|

So true... and since there's nothing else left that needs to be said...
Same time (more or less), same place, next year?? (My ribs need at least 12 months to recover from the injuries caused by laughing...)

A big Thank You to each and every single one of you unique and crazy but lovely lot!!!
