Thank you everyone who helped to make cricket 2008 possible  WOW! Already 'batting' eyelids to soften SO for the next trip to Skukuza 2009.
Won't be batting on the field though  ... hard work if I look at all the 'injuries' sustained.
Great to have met you all 8)

Les and I would also like to thank everyone concerned for the Cricket Weekend. The Friday evening braai was great and the Saturday evening function was really great! Thanks to everyone for their hard work in organising it all.
A big thankyou to all the cricketers and umpires who entertained us on the Saturday... it was a lot of fun and laughs..for the spectators anyway!! I think it was hard work in the sun for the players and the umpires who were out there in the heat of the day!
We are looking forward to next year

I also think the umpires did a great job in that heat. Well done guys.

Just a pity that Dave didn't call the delivery I got out from a no ball.  But it was a great catch by the Skuz captain at first slip and it deserved a wicket.

Sorry wtm, must have 'nodded off' for that one. Only woke up when the ground shook as he hit the ground!

Seriously though, it was a pleasure to umpire. The standard of bowling was excellent on both sides, as the early batsmen will agree. The main difference between the teams was the batting of Steven. I also think batting after fielding in the heat for so long had an effect

LMAO!!

Was my batting that slow? That you had to nod off?

He plucked that ball from the sky like a half ripe peach from the end of a broom stick.

I dunno who was most surprised at that catch. Me, him or the rest of his team.

That was a seriously good catch. A few balls later he tried to repeat his efforts for a simpler catch, dropped the ball and nearly dislocated his shoulder. Bad luck for you!

That's my luck. I once had 5 numbers on my lotto ticket for the previous week's winning combination.

We are back from Kruger and I sincerely want to thank everybody for a wonderful time! It was a real pleasure putting faces to names and meeting all of you. Next time I will definitely not be the shy girl in the corner!

Thank you very much for the dinner on Saturday you exceeded all expectations, the food, decor, everything was just perfect. I am just sorry that nobody gave a thank you speech  (Maybe I just missed it).

wildheart, I'm pretty sure that I remember Nedret thanking a long, long, list of people.
