RIP Lockie

Unread post by Jazil » Tue Dec 27, 2016 8:43 am

Our dear friend Lockie, passed away peacefully last night surrounded by his family.

Lockie was a very special forumite, he wrote beautiful prose and poetry, check out some of his posts
here and here
and here, these are just a few of many.

He was such a talented man. He was such an inspirational man! And although had not been on the forum for a few years, has never been forgotten. He touched all our lives in a very special way. He will leave a void behind,

All our thoughts are with CuriousCanandian his dearly beloved wife

A very special and talented person indeed and I was privileged to have met both him and Trish his wife.
He fought to the end with such courage and remained cheerful and upbeat, such was his nature.
Who can forget those old days on the forum and the "Lock stock and barrel" virtual bar at the end of the day.
RIP Lockie.

I never had the privilege to meet Lockie on the forums or in person, but he must have been a very special forumite. I do, however, "know" Curious Canadian from the forums. My heartfelt condolences to Curious Canadian, family and friends. R.I.P. Lockie. :gflower:

:gflower: CuriousCanandian family and friends...I am so sorry to hear about Lockie’s passing. I hope that the love of your family and friends will comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead. You are in our thoughts and Prayes.

"The angels looked down from heaven one night
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.

They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took Lockie up to heaven
Forever to remain.

Look down on us from heaven
Keep us free from hurt and pain,
You'll always be within our hearts
Until we meet again Lockie".
