Insect: Garden Locust

Can anyone help with an ID on this critter ... some sort of grasshopper? Seen at Bontebok NP on 3 October 2009.

arks,
Looks like a Garden Locust (Acanthacris ruficornis)...the only species in the genus. Found on bushes or trees in open ground, esp. in stands of Port Jackson Willow (Acacia saligna), but also gardens. Absent from very arid areas.
