Great pics Jan.

Looking forward to being back in Lower Sabie on Wed 4th Nov for a week. Hope to see the Sunset Dam Baboon Troop and get some pics too.

Always a question when to go B&W or Colour, but you got it spot on, Jan. :D

Soooo looking forward to getting to spend some time at Sunset Dam.....have never stayed at LS before, so this will be a first for us.
38 days to go before we arrive at Punda to start our trip from North to South :dance:

One of the spots to spot the Diderik cuckoo is in the bushes next to the gravel parking section at Sunset dam.

White-faced Whistling Ducks at Sunset Dam - Nov 2015
Green-faced after going into the Dam. Luckily Sunset Dam has still got plenty of water in it. They seem to run the pump for an hour every morning.
The water is still very green.

They are such appealing ducks

Look like they have been swimming in 'pea soup'
I suppose that the rains will wash that algae out of the dams when we eventually get some good rains. :pray:
