Can one get a kudu roll at N'wanetsi? We fancy a different lunch tomorrow halfway through our east of Satara loop!

I think its only Tshokwane, Afsaal and Nkuhlu that serve food, sorry.
Want to say Thank You or Well Done to a fellow 'mite? Why not nominate them for a Kudu?

Definitely Makhadzi :D :D , I get such a good feel, it is organized, clean and sometimes we have been the only visitors, just to cook, eat and relax, no better way to spend a morning. Secondly will have to be Pretoriuskop Day Visitors picnic site, very well run, clean and also very relaxing. In Dec 2012 we stopped for breakfast on 3 occasions, we were the only ones there for close to 2 hours, nice table and chairs and the bush around is lush and we also got a very good feel :D :D
PRETORIUSKOP 20 - 21 December 2015
TAMBOTI 22 - 24 December 2015
OLIFANTS 25 - 27 December 2015 (with a view)
LETABA 28 - 31 December 2015
MOPANI 01 - 03 January 2016 (with a view)
PRETORIUSKOP 04 -06 January 2016

My top 3:

1. Pafuri every day. The place is magical. Frank once showed us a Pel's Fishing Owl there. But the biggest attraction is the trees. Those "Hardekool" trees...
2. Makhadzi. The road from Letaba is not that appealing, but the sense of tranquility...
3. Babalala - Open plains with Mopanis - my favourite.

Mlondozi is beautifully situated but it is ALWAYS busy. The last two times we had to turn around as there was no space for us.
"All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer by the stars."

13-16 June: Mopani

19-21 Sept: Mata Mata
22-23 Sept: Nossob
24-26 Sept: Twee Rivieren

I dunno maybe someone can jog my memory? Far up North on the Limpopo there used to be a very big tree, one of the ficus species. Here I think in its shade is my favorite spot.

I love Muzandzeni, Babalala, Timbavati and Mooiplaas because you feel you are in the bush. N'wanetsi is lovely if you go up to the viewpoint. Mlondozi has a lovely view over the dam, but is often quite busy.

Makhadzi, by a mile. Second only to Pafuri.

I also love Timbavati, because it is on one of my favorite roads, the S39.

Ooops - I forgot Pafuri! That has to be one of my favourites, but one can only go there if staying at Shingwedzi or Punda Maria camps, as it is in the far north of the park. Wonderful riverine bush in the area, lots of nyala and interesting birds. If you are lucky and Frank is on duty at the picnic site, he is a bird expert and is keen to share his knowledge with visitors.
