We love to see the green in kruger and for sure Hippos find some food again.
Last February, we just saw them starving all over, it sure made us so sad. :( :(

Seven weeks from today we will drive through Malelane Gate & back into the park for our 2nd trip.

Wild Card purchased - check. The online form failed but they emailed the application.
Camps booked - check.
Fortuner rented - check. Since we are staying at a number of Bushveld camps I opted for BIG.
Flights all sorted - check. Except the SA flights that I can't choose seats until <24 hrs before.
Buy a high powered mini flashlight for the Bushveld camps - not yet. (Nitecore MH27)
Buy decent binoculars - not yet. (Opticron 8X33 Savanna R)
Bug my spouse to learn her new camera - well, starting to . . .
Getting excited? Yes.

Thanks all.

With me visiting Kruger alone, I am a little apprehensive at the thought of meeting up with a non too pleased elephant, but apart from that, really looking forward to it (except for the spiders!!). Next year, hubby is coming along!

Mischief, thanks ever so much for that pointer to Roaneric's fantastic thread about her trip alone. It made for really great reading.

Hi Cecilec :k :k
That is such a great pleasure. You just have to read some of the Travel Tales that have been posted in the thread.I can see you have an absolute passion for the Kruger National Park and many many of those travel reports with the stunning photographs and videos will make you feel as though you are actually there    a bit before the actual time you will physically be there. So many of the Mites are equally as passionate and love the Park and this is truly reflected in the Travel Tales that they post. You have to appreciate the extreme amount of time and thought these people have dedicated to these reports all for our benefit :gflower: :gflower: :gflower: :gflower: :gflower:

So grab a big bucket of     and enjoy! :k
