Hi reg - haven't heard anything. . The thing is, these ellies tend to cross the car park on their way from the river. The lookout is the other side of the car park from the picnic site. So if you park close to the poles ringing the picnic site and stay in that area, where there are a couple of solid loos if necessary, you should be fine!. They are not there all the time. I have been often and not seen ellies at all.
