My beautiful five is a mix of species:

1) Impala
2) Fish Eagle
3) Ground squirrel
4) Kudu
5) Giraffe

in my book, all animals are beautiful, other than spiders, I cant stand them!

Mine are:

Fish eagle (when you arive at your destination, and the first call you hear is the fish eagle, you know you in the bush)
Giant king Fisher
pygmy King fisher (pitty only in summer time)
hippo call
all the geckos you see hard at work at night eating all the gogo's so they dont land in your hair

and one other "maybe", some may disagree because in the morning when you are enjoying your last few minutes of sleep it calls:

The Hadeda Ibis

yes it wakes you up and is very loud, but is it not one of the most iconic of South African bush sounds, it just has to be beautiful?

My B5 are animals which I have seen on my 2 visits to the Kruger

1) Leopard
2) Kudu Bull
3) Male lion with black mains
4) Big Tusker Elephant
5) Serval

When the timing is right and the aloes have plenty of nectar the variety of Sunbirds in Orpen Camp can put up a spectacular show and they can easily take up a spot on this list.
