:hmz: Scientists consider the theory of evolution a complete explanation of how life developed on Earth. Fact/Myth?

Myth. It couldn't be complete as (i) it is mainly still a theory; and (ii) it does not explain all aspects of evolution - i.e. there are, increasingly, animals that do not fit into the classical models.

Myth it is....OWN "The world's great thinkers have been pondering evolutionary issues since as early as the 6th century, but Scientists are still working out all the holes in our understanding of just how evolution works".

 Not sure what happened, TP; I must have tried to "force" it through and sent the button into vibrato mode.

Fact or Myth: The Earth's inner core is composed primarily of an iron-nickel liquid alloy?

Myth,

No one has drilled that deep yet so it cannot be taken as a fact. It is also assumed that lava is from the earths inner core but not proven.

I would go with Myth too, since it is not a proven fact but this is what seismologists believe based on observations.

So, if you mites say Myth, what do you think the inner core of the Earth is composed of? P.S. This is for bonus points. :D

A little sleeping bunny

I think right at the center there is a hole of nothing. Due to centrifugal forces and the fact that the earth is spinning and has done so for many years. The possibility of a very small space of nothing is highly likely.

If you think of it, most solids are made up of nothing as well. The weight baring Atom us very small compared to the cloud of electrons around it. So I think there is noting in the center of the earth.
