No-one is bad at riddles, OD ... it either jumps out at you, or it doesn't! Sometimes I miss the easist, most obvious ones; sometimes, I surprise myself with my abilities. Depends on the day, the moment, the awakeness, the ... so many factors. :hmz:

Okay ...

Major Johnson and some of the boys were exchanging old war stories. Matt Craig offered one about how his grandfather led a battalion against a German division during World War I. Through brilliant manoeuvers, he defeated them and captured valuable territory.
After the battle he was presented with a sword bearing the inscription "To Colonel Craig for Bravery, Daring and Leadership. World War I. From the Men of Battalion 8."
Major Johnson looked at Matt and said, "You really don't expect anyone to believe that fabrication, do you?"
How did Johnson know that Craig was lying?
