Imberbe you amaze me!!!!
You seem to be holding the floor nearly every time.
Hmm....perhaps we had better started thinking of some tougher questions.
Ask not what your plant can do for you but what you can do for your planet.

A rather easy one!

Why is a Blister Beetle called that? Give a little explanation. :D

Ah at last an easy question that stupid me can answer yey.

The Blister Beetle's defence mechanism is to secrete a toxin that makes the skin swell and blister (rather painfully i believe).
The toxin is called cantharidin, and is carried by the males, and through mating is then past to the females. It can cause strange effects if ingested, men can suffer a "swelling" lets say, in the genitals for up to 4 hours causing severe irritation in the urinary tract.

Not sure if it is the same chemical used in a medical sense to treat warts or remove tattoos? Anyone know?

Human African Trypanosomiasis affects the central nervous system of the victim and can induce a coma or even death, what is the host of this infection?

We seem to have lost Freda. I think she has had enough time so I will submit a question in her place:

What is the difference between the way a puff adders and boomslang release their venom?

The teeth of the Puff adder are situated in the front of the mouth. The large teeth fold out when the snake wants to bite, and it delivers a large amount of venom in a fast bite. The snake releases its prey, and wait for it to die.

The teeth of the Boomslang are small and is situated to the back of the mouth. When it bites its prey, it keeps hold of the prey, and makes chewing movements, this helps to pump venom in to the prey animal.
