Yes caravans can go through as well, it’s a bit narrow but they can use it.

Hi all,

We are currently staying in Satara and noticed that the S126 (Sweni Road) between the H1-3 and the Muzandzeni Picnic Spot is closed...asked the Receptionists in Satara but they didn't know anything about it....has anybody any information about it? Cause we wanted to go that road on our way to Talamati tomorrow....
Thanks a lot for any feedback!!!!!

Dear Marthin,

Welcome to the forums  .

Yes, you will be able to drive from Skukuza via the H1-2 past Tshokwane to Satara. A detour was build and already opened on 24 March 2017.

Enjoy the trip  .
Always be humble and understanding.

We have driven the detour several times this trip and its perfectly fine and quite an eye opener to see where the road was breached.
