Sirheni was absolutely perfect!

1. Well appointed, clean and comfy chalet (we were in number 11)

2. Peace and quiet by the truckload

3. We had an elephant walk passed our chalet one evening whilst we were braaing and, were serenaded by hyena in the distance every night whilst we were there. One night we heard the rasps of a leopard and one was seen by a fellow camp-mate walking through the riverbed. Missed that one sadly :wall:

I would definitely recommend this one!

We learnt though that not all bush camps are created equally. We spent our last night at Shimuweni, and were left terribly disappointed. The setting was stunning, but the chalet was dark and dingy and in desperate need of a refurb. We also prefer some privacy between the chalets, similar to what one finds at Sirheni and Bateleur.

We will visit Sirheni again for sure!

It's a pleasure DinkyBird :)

If you can and don't mind the foot traffic to the right-next-door bird hide, try for unit 12. It must have the best view into the riverbed!
