Amecullen
Keep your two nights at Sirheni so you have a whole day there to explore the S56 or just to be there.
When we've gone from there to Satara we've done a "get up and go", thermos and food on board, tar road only, loo stop only at camps and refill thermos. Coffee stops and food stops next to impala etc or a good view. We've had fantastic whole days seeing loads. By keeping an eye on the time you can do it without feeling rushed, stopping at sightings and not driving faster than you would wish. You have 13 hours.
We allow ourselves an easy next day, or rather always say we are going to but then get tempted by the lure of S100!
Have fun

Thanks Boslaaitie and Jacquiandphil
That is very reassuring, I know it will be a long day, but any day in the Kruger is a great day
Can't wait for our trip, counting the days

BerkiSA, I am a big Sirheni fan. Lovely camp, small and very quite.
My favourite road in that area is the S56. A beautiful scenic drive. For us, it has delivered elephant, buffalo, gound hornbill, giraffe, nyala, impala, sadlebilled storks, grysbok, bushbuck.....and some beautiful old trees.

Hi Berki

I have to agree with Rosemary ,on the same road I've seen Lions on the hunt ,and a huge pride around the boyela waterhole .
Some have also spotted leopard not too far from camp.
Duckling in training
