Thanks Lesley. The update is much appreciated. Have these units been updated on the camp map?

I doubt it Graham and won't be until they are all completed, so best just to take a note of the numbers Lesley has supplied.

Re: Olifants Rest Camp Where is BD3U - Map doesn't show

Unread postby Travelstory » Fri Oct 16, 2015 10:56 pm

Hi Formites,
Excitedly we are coming back from the US to Kruger for trip #.... 10 I think.... perhaps 11.

We booked Olifants BD3U. I was looking on the camp map to see where this is on the map but it doesn't show that code.

Any clues?

I know they just renovated many of the huts.

Thank you!!

Hi Dana

Have a look here for all the info you need - there are some photos of the BD3U units and also a note that they are marked as BG3U on the maps still.

Excellent info by roaneric in that link!
Dinkybird, you always so helpful on queries by mites.
To be reported on Monday :- The link to map on Olifants monthly accommodation page has been replaced by a photo of a wildcard.
Thanks to all for their contributions!

Hi kite,
I have checked where I think you are referring Here I clicked on the map in the drop down menu in Travel and and I can't seem to see the "Wildcard" pic in the Olifants map you describe?
Is it possible to either give me a link to the one you refer to or give me more description of how you get to it.
Thanks

Hi Elsa,
Just logged on after the rugby!
Yes, it is that page! I've just checked and when I click on the 'map, word, it brings up a green wild card picture.
When I tried to enlarge it earlier, I don't think it worked, but now it does go to the larger version of Olifants map from the green wild card. Maybe it will self correct?
I thought it was happening for all users, but maybe it's just on my side at the moment.
Many thanks, kite

I tried again and still get " Johan Smith wild earth " card under Camp Layout. I took a screenshot in case you think I'm hallucinating!

I don't think I can get it onto the forum, sorry, but could send an email, if you don't mind giving me email address.
U could delete it as soon as I reply!
I don't want to post it on FACEBOOK but that is another option from my photo program.

Could you let me know what browser, windows or device you are using?

Is this on a tablet, mobile etc - any information can help me try and find out why you are seeing this
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.
