We are working on the lizards emancipation - for those who are watching, there are four lizards inside the webcam! We don't know how they got in as the unit is sealed.

Hi Vinkie, that was a brown hyena

Anne-Marie, that was a jackal. Black-backed to be precise :D
Back from beautiful Botswana - a long time to wait, but KNP and KTP planned for 2016!

I would love to know what is in the water at Nossob. The jackals seem to be interested but are not doing anything. PietV :pray:

I think it must be a dead something. The BBJs have been milling around all day looking at it!

My immediate answer was that looks like a scorpion.

Since we are staying at Orpen tonight, we are wearing

OUR BOOTS IN CAMP. and maybe to bed :lol:

I've seen them a couple of times in Addo... perhaps it got into the cam the same way as the geckos

The other morning he was captured on cam with a fish in his beak! 8)
