Double white wingbars, rufous rump and longish tail: looks more like a White-browed Scrub-robin than a cisticola to me (but then my LBJ IDs are rather suspect.. )

Hopefully the experts can weigh in here to provide a definitive answer!
Latest lifers: House Crow, Grey-backed Cisticola, Ludwig's Bustard, Tractrac Chat, African Reed Warbler, Black-bellied Starling, Plain-backed Pipit, Common Buttonquail, Cutthroat Finch, Freckled Nightjar

Now I know why I couldn't match it to any Cisticola!!!
Also is a "winding" Cisticola a real name?
Cheers,Afriphile.

Yes, there is such a bird as a Winding cisticola. :o

Wiki revealed the following:

The winding cisticola (Cisticola marginatus) is a species of bird in the family Cisticolidae. It has a scattered distribution across Africa south of the Sahara, and north of 11°S

Its natural habitats are tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland and swamps

(11°S is well north of South Africa, the parallel crossing the far north of Angola, northern Zambia and northern Mozambique.)
