Daan, go hang a pork chop around your neck and protrude out of the Lake Panic bird hide!

JVR, you are now just as pesky as a bloody cafee fly! I swat you off for a brief while and then you are back again in a flash! :slap:

Nice going on your new ticks.

Sounds like it is overdue for the 3 of us to get together again. I have some catching up to do on both of you!
Whatever (according to BB): "You are correct but I don't want to admit it".

Sounds like a plan, just inform me way ahead of time as work has taken me prisoner for the next 2 months.

I will have to apply for parole or something to get out for a birding session.

281 it is.

Roberts lists 423 in their guide for Kruger (not including Lower Sabie's Mynas). Would be interesting to hear about sightings they didn't include.

Ps. Nvm found the accepted rare species list here on sanparks, that takes it up to 500 species in Kruger.
Guess I'll be going to Kruger for a while yet

Hullo - don't know if it is mentioned anywhere, but how many listed birds are there in total for Kruger? I am way behind, that I know! There is a bird group on facebook - "Birds of the Kruger National Park" (has a Lilac Breasted Roller as its group photo) where you can post pics and ask for ID help etc. If anyone wishes to join, it would be great. PS. Mods, dont know if I can mention it here, so please delete if not.
