It was the only one we spotted. They're quite difficult to see :)

Bizarrely, after the Cricket at Skukuza this year, several members saw one between Lower Sabie and Croc Bridge!!!!!

Almost at the H5 turning off the Lower Sabie/Croc Bridge road. Also seen by Meandering Mouse and Elsa and Klystron. It has just occurred to me that there may have been more than one as Elsa and Klystron saw one and the one MM and I saw came out of the bush and crossed the road in front of us.

Finally after searching for years, I found flocks of the crested guinea fowl at Bhubesi in Swaziland.

Their call suprised me and it reminded me of a squeaky old wire bed.

A little bedraggled as it was raining.

Hi gjorgi,

very slim unfortunately. But in saying so, people have seen a "confused" and "lost" one around Skukuza associating itself with Helmeted Guineafowl. So you never know.

I seem to recall a few reports of these being seen along the H4-2 between Croc Bridge and LS.
The bush along this road can be very thick, so could be suitable habitat?
Though I guess due to the thick bush, they aren't seen that often?
Could be more common than we think?
