Index to Birding school for Ducklings Challenges

To streamline the Birding school for Ducklings Challenge Thread and establishing a bird reference library, it was decided to split the thread into two-yearly challenges' discussions and results for easy reading.

Readers will find a link at the bottom of each result posted for 2009 - 2010, 2011 - 2012 as well as 2013 - 2014 to the "Bird Index" to enable 'mites and visitors to read more about each bird.

Index to Bird ID Challenges

To streamline the Bird ID Challenge Thread and establish a bird reference library, it was decided to split the thread into two yearly challenges with its results for easy reading. I am also in the process of linking the results by bird at the bottom of each result post to the "Bird Index" to enable 'mites and visitors to read more about each bird.

Dear Birders,
Please take note that this topic is regularly “cleaned” by moving the posts of a specific bird that has been positively ID-ed to the specific bird topic for all to use when trying to ID their bird sightings, and also to read all the interesting discussions about the birds while ID-ing them.
Should it be impossible for anybody to give a positive ID for a bird for some reason or another, it will be taken out, because it serves no purpose.
Go to Index: Birds of Southern Africa and find the topic of the bird you are looking for.
