I dunno, there is a lot of white in that wing.

Not easy to id from this small quality photo, but it seems more like a White-crowned Lapwing than anything else. and if it is, it would be a really good find for the Satara area!

Anyone able to clarify the id of this bird. The white looks wrong for a fiscal shrike and my book shows a boubou with an orange tummy. Any ideas please?

It looks too chunky for a wagtail, and it hasn't got a black band on the chest, so I don't think it's that, but thanks for the suggestion, yvo.

It's a Fiscal Flycatcher.

Not very clear image unfortunately!
If anyone could perhaps help with ID of this bird?
My first thought was that it looked like a Nightjar :hmz:
