Hi Arks,

again, Long-billed Pipit would be out of range in Kruger, although I see that there are some records of it.
One would rather opt for the far more common African Pipit, especially in the habitat where you spotted this individual.

Is this perhaps a monotonous lark? Seen along the S50 in mid-April 2016.

arks, your photos made me think of a lark I saw in Kruger in March.

Also a Monotonous Lark?

Sure looks like it to me, Karin :thumbs_up: I think that the white throat when singing is the key feature. Perhaps WTM will confirm yours :pray:

Another of those perplexing cisticolas :wall: Is this one perhaps a rufouswinged cisticola? Seen along the S56 on a dark and rainy morning in mid-April 2016.

My guess would be Rattling Cisticola on this one Arks.

1. seen on the S 110 on 24.02.2016, unfortunately a bit far away and not willing to turn around. Maybe a cisticola?
