I have been off line for a while - retired, then promptly got recalled and am working full time again. This is why I was stuck on 388 for a long time. The remedy - a trip to Langebaan and WCNP overnight stay and the cherry on top - the Sasol Tankwa Honorary Rangers birding weekend. If you have not ever done one - don't hesitate. it was my first and man o man did I learn lots - and got 13 lifers! Thirteen!

So please put me on 407, with grateful thanks to Ralie and Francois, Honorary Rangers.

500 seems a long way away. A long long way.
Pete

Up to 506 after getting a Common Whitethroat a few weeks back at Zaagkuilsdrift and then picked up a Dark-Capped Yellow-Warbler and a long time target Red-Winged Francolin at Rietvlei Nature Reserve. Target still 520
