New lifers have been scarce in winter, picked up long-billed Pipit, Black Harrier, Wattled Crane and Pink-billed Lark since previous update.
New total 660.
No SA birding planned for the next month (will get some USA birds though!) but hopefully some new birds during Punda, Mopani and Shimuwini visit during Oct holidays.

Following 2 awesome long weekend’s atlassing with the Honorary Rangers and Joe Grosel in the area of Shimuwini and Bateleur in the Kruger, I can move my tally up to 353 with Stierlings Wren-warbler  , Grey-backed Cameroptera and some Collared Pratingcole the highlights of my new additions.

Looking forward to this weekend at Letaba to make some new additions....

Happy birding all
Rodney
