Boulders open Easter Monday + Swartkop permits?

Unread post by Graham_5000 » Sun Apr 05, 2015 5:40 pm

I don't suppose any of you are able to help?

We attempted to walk up Swartkop from the Simons Town side earlier today - we stopped at the start though as there was a sign saying hikers need to obtain permits from the Boulders office? We did not know permits would be required, but would like to get them and attempt the hike tomorrow. Will the office at Boulders beach be open on Easter Monday?

Thanks

Thanks DB, much appreciated. Boulders is indeed open today - just rang them. The section ranger only issues the permits though and isn't in the office today, so a walk isn't possible unfortunately.

Oh no - hope you can do the walk another time. Do enjoy the day in CT anyway, it is such stunning weather - well out our way

I'm sure a hike up to Kanonkop, lunch at Diaz beach and rooibos at Platboom will be equally as nice! Have a nice day on the other side of False Bay.
