As they say in show business.......

That's all folks.........

Image

By now I had a full blown Migraine!! But nothing in this world could get the smile from my face!!

We decided to leave the sighting (we actually thought of leaving earlier before the youngsters came down to fetch the kill) just so that the rest of the people could also enjoy a bit of this amazing sighting. Can't remember but I think by that stage there must have been 15 plus cars and not much space for all to have a nice view!!

I do hope you enjoyed the sighting with me!! Felt as if I was back there!!

An amazing sequence of events beautifully captured Lion Queen   Thanks for sharing and allowing us to relive the experience with you :k

I always seem to be an half hour too early or too late for the KILL

Like this one sighted a fair distance from the road:

A half hour too early :slap:

Image

And a half hour too late when returning to the same sighting later :slap:

Maybe our coming visit will "be our turn"!!

These two were part of a group of four cheetah which we saw twice on our February trip. On both occasions we saw the four attempting to hunt Springbok. Both attempts ended in failure. The consensus was that it was a mother and three youngsters, and it was the youngsters practicing their hunting skills.
