We're on our way again for a near 14-day stunt between Nossob and Mata Mata soon.

Would appreciat if any recent visitor to the KTP could advise as to where last they came across a den of Cape Foxes . . . . these little creatures have eluded us now for years. With all the lovely pics in this thread . . . surely there must be sombody who will assist to pin-point their whereabouts.

During our last visit in 2014 we were told that they have taken refuse again in an old den . . . . some two kms south of the Urikaruus turn-off . . . on the left, against the sharp incline after you've passed through the riverbed. Although we could see the holes at the time, there was not a single fresh track to be seen.
Twee Rivieren : 2 nights for starters !
Nossob : 11 days from 1st March 2016 ( camping at last again !)
Mata Mata : then 5 nights at Mata Mata

. . . with the red sand in my shoes . . I'll always return

We were in Kgalagdi in early December & the den on the incline going north just south of the Urikaruus turnoff was active. The single pup looked to be ready to set out on its own.

Unfortunately we could also not find any Cape Foxes during our recent trip Red Dune! No fresh tracks around any of those holes. :(
