Yes Hilda, KTC.

Most of the mornings they roared on their way to the waterhole, except one morning the 3 that was right in front of our neighbours never made a sound, but kept an eye on the 2 down at the waterhole which greeted the morning with loud roars. I went out also keeping an eye on those 2 never saw the 3 behind the bush next door!!!

While the other one decided to join his partner in crime under the pool deck!!!

If you look closely you'll see the one laying at the front against the wire mesh, the other one's bum is just visible as he was making his way in!!!

Thank goodness the camp was nearly empty, and the rangers could coax the lions out under the pool deck without any harm.

The 3 went up the dune and spend the rest of the day keeping an eye on the camp, wishing they could still be next to the pool!!!

Thankfully we haven't left the "bedroom" at that stage, when the camp attendant came to tell us that the water pipe that burst at our chalet will be fixed shortly (we could not shower, so we decided to wait a while before going out that morning). He asked me if I saw the 3 lions causing our neighbours so much excitement! Only then did I spot the other 3.

Wow that is not everyday that you get lions around the pool area. I thought my encounter of hearing a lion roar when I got out to hand in my permit in April was scary, but you had them right at the hut.

Did this happened in Dec? We stayed at Mata-Mata and missed out on this pride.
