Youngster fast a sleep at Dalkeith right on the bank of the waterhole!

I'm not so sure how comfy that is???

A few months ago we stayed in tent number 11.... it's only a short distance to walk to the pool..... :whistle:

While we were there early in the morning a lioness with two cubs walked through the camp.

When did you see this beautiful boy, Lion Queen?

Robbert, that was the morning of 29 October 2015.

3 Lovely males visited the waterhole and then meandered up to the swimming pool area.

I'll post some more photos now now. They had a ball of a time!

We were in chalet 13 so just behind the pool.

In the week we stayed there we had lions in camp every day.

I suppose you had to scan the area very well when leaving your tent or arriving back after a drive?! Was that the Kgalagadi Tented Camp? :shock: :shock:

Yes Hilda, KTC.

Most of the mornings they roared on their way to the waterhole, except one morning the 3 that was right in front of our neighbours never made a sound, but kept an eye on the 2 down at the waterhole which greeted the morning with loud roars. I went out also keeping an eye on those 2 never saw the 3 behind the bush next door!!! :big_eyes:
