Field Guide to the Insects of South Africa by Picker, Griffiths & Weaving

Covers most of the more common insects found in SA, either at species, or genus level.
Left hand page is a short description, some basic info (habitat etc), and a distribution map
Opposite is a photo or two.

Hi Yoda

I found this book most helpful in ID'ing insects and I agree that it covers most of what you need to find out what they are. I have had my copy for a couple of years and it has been well used
