A fantastic book for anyone interested in Southern African Frogs

The book starts with general information on Frogs; Life Cycle, Habits etc
Then the bulk of the book deals with the individual species: Photos, distribution maps, habitat, info on the specific tadpole
And there is also a disc that comes with the book that has the calls of the various species.

Thank you Yoda  . This sounds like a very interesting book. I like the idea of the disc that is included in the book with the calls of the different species of frogs.

My mother-in-law dislikes frogs and freaks out, perhaps a good pressie for her :hmz: :naughty:
No, I get on very well with her, so will rather keep the peace.

As yet, I haven't listed to the cd, but do intend to in due course.

My husband bought this book. Weird hearing him play the cd late at night learning the different calls. Now with the frogs back in our garden we definitely don't need a cd. Stunning book with great photography.
