Very true MM!

I feel that today is going to be a special day and that we will find mum and her cub.

Padkos is ready and of course MM you have packed the Amarula for that moment when we find the them. I have crumbed sausages, bacon and spinach quiche slices, tuna mayo sandwiches and fruit salad and yoghurt. Anyone have anything to add, please bring it along and then we are set.   Maybe some bottles of lovely chilled water....cant be patriotic ALL the time :)

MM, you must have been extremely close to the action to capture these lions and their buffalo kill.
I often wonder why my special sightings are so limited in comparison to sightings by others.
I have also wondered what I may do if I happened upon a chase and eventual kill. Probably close my eyes as I do when watching similar action on TV.

Believe me Tessa, I can be Patriotic ALL the time.

GM, we might have to make you the designated driver, as you and Tessa are the only people who has thought of ice cold water. Tessa seems to have been too enthusiastic about being patriotic though.

Tessa, your padkos sounds so delicious that I am happy to stay on the hunt forever. Just watch Carol with the ... patriotism juice.

Nkulu is back. I wonder if she might join us. What that juice ladies.

Mizzbee, this was taken in November a few year back on a fund raising trip. The buffalo had been taken down in the afternoon. We had booked for a sundowner drive not knowing this had happened. What treat to have this all to ourselves.

Another picture just before leaving. The sun sets so quickly in Kruger. I found these eyes so menacing.

Their eyes are really very eery, but loving this siting.

Had a good chuckle at your comments MM

One glass of patriotic juice coming up Carol :D Would you like it with ice?

It looks like we have been designated with the driving GM, so everyone sit back and enjoy the padkos, patriotic juice and switch those spotlights on and lets see what this night drive has in store for us this evening.

Nice spot to bring us to MM

If I were to come across those eyes at night I would need more than a little patriotic juice.

Reminds me of walking to the toilet in the dead of night at Tamboti. All those eyes watching every movement. Creepy stuff.

Tambotie is not for sissies. I am going to be there, hopefully early December. I will have two Kruger novices with me. I will introduce a touch of patriotism with great care.

I am so pleased to see that there is such a well developed spirit of patriotism in this group. Tessa, with enough patriotism, you won't need anyone to hold your hand.

Go easy on that patriotic juice now Carol. Tessa may need it in Tamboti.

MM I notice a few animals with lumps in various places. I have never noticed these abnormalities before. :hmz:

What a beauty she is. Her coat looks silver in the light. Really don't like the idea of lumps being found on the cats. I wonder what it could be?? I am sure the Rangers must have done tests to find out.

Yes I think a small tipple of patriotic juice before bed will sort out all the fears of the loo at Tamboti at night.  Thanks for saving that extra bit for me Carol :D
