Just love the photos everyone and have enjoyed the peace and quite of each one.

I know I am a bit late, but so pleased that there was still a little bit of Amarula left over for me.

Absolutely, we have got to be patriotic and if having to have some Amarula does it, well we will just have to be strong and partake :D

I have yet to figure out how to post photos and once SO has helped with that, I have some lovely ones of ellies down south. Ooops, we will have to pack up our gear and take the trek, but am sure we will see some beauties on the way

MM, I will look for that TR of NaomiC and see if I can find the Lichtenstein Hartebees.

Dupacc, super to see darrrling   It looks to be a perfectly situated tent with both river and bush. I must remember that.

Tessa, a few ellies just for you....

Carol g wrote:MM and Trrp, I'm there with you, brought some extra Amarula for that dash in the coffee

Good to see that you are prepared for any eventuality.

Trrp, lets have some more water and add a dash of ellie.

Jeannie, hold tight, the bus is moving on.

Thanks for the lovely photo of the ellies MM :D

I found Namioc's TR and the photos of the Lichtenstein's Hartebeest and was thrilled to see the babies. Really great that they are breading.

So enjoying this coffee, it always tastes best in the bush. :lotsocoffee:

Trrp, great photo  . I almost expected something to come walking out of that bush into river.

Love it :gflower:

Just before my last trip there was so much talk about destructive ellies, that I avoided them at all cost, much to my regret. The only time I was at peace with any of the elephants that I did encounter was those at Sirheni.
One Tusk’ provided hours of entertainment as did all the other animals that came down to the river bed.

I can quite imagine me sipping Amarula on my balcony looking out over the river. You are all welcome to join me. Image

Rooies, lovely to know that you are silently on board. No wonder the Amarula went down so quickly

Bert, I wish you a most wonderful trip.

Mizzbee, I have never stayed at Sirheni and have heard only good reports. I think I might well pop in for an Amurulatjie.

I like the sound of that Philip. Is there something you would like to tell us? Trrp, does Philip have something up his sleeve?

Tessa, I am pleased you found the pictures in Naomi's report. That is the time I left my camera on the kitchen table. :wall: :wall: :wall: One of the many marvelous sightings I missed.

Carol, Tent Dweller, and all who wish to join...

I am inviting you on a slightly different adventure. We are going Lion hunting.

We are going to Nossob to try and get a shot :cam: at this little family.

I might pop in every now and again to see the drama unfold.
