You know you're a Kruger fan when...

Unread post by Stark » Thu Nov 15, 2012 12:59 am

As a foreigner:

All the bumper stickers on your car were purchased in SA.

You have more rand in your wallet right now than any other currency.

While driving around your country, several places remind you of the S100.

You tell anybody that will listen at the zoo what the difference is between white and black rhino.

You know exactly what time it is in Kruger...across multiple time zones.

Anybody else?? :)

While driving to work at about 30km/h in peak traffic you start scanning the properties next to the road for any signs of wildlife

You always have a pair of binoculars and a KNP map in your car.

You have some of your best sightings saved as bookmarks on your GPS.
Not in Kruger.... Busy planning the next trip...

...you start a conversation with "Do you remember when we saw that lion/leopard/cheetah/wild dog pack"
Whatever (according to BB): "You are correct but I don't want to admit it".

I promise you I have even reversed there in Craighall to look at a bird in a tree! Fortunately I had my bird book in my car and could put on my hazards and ID the birdy!
