We continued the afternoon drive - enjoying the impalas some more!
And their little friends!!

Image

The young men were testing their skills!

We interrupted some afternoon tea!
Image

Then we spotted another new species for the day - dwarf mongooses! Or is it mongeese  ?

They were super busy and we could have watched them for ever!
Image

They had an overseer....

Whatchu lookin at??????
Image

We stopped at the Mathekenyane Lookout - it is so peaceful and the view is awesome...
Image

The other side of the camera! We're happy! We're in Kruger!
Image

Another feathered friend... Jameson's fire finch was also enjoying the rock!

The afternoon drive continues.....

jaytea, you captured some lovely pics of the impis with their associates
I also love to just sit and watch them, although a lot of them in Kruger, still just lovely to watch and observe them. One will be surprised what poses and opportunities they provides one with.

Cute mongoose captured in the field with someone else also playing watchman.

Nice to meet the face behind the name and thank you for sharing another lovely episode. :D :D :D
