Rather safe than sorry! Hope the kids don't try to find the Leopard!

The past few days have been busy getting ready for the next course starting on Tuesday.

Camp has been quiet and was empty for 2 nights (bliss......I turned off the alarm clock and the school kids opened the gate ready for their mini bus to pick them up).

This evening did a scorpion hunt with some guests. After finding a few in a couple of trees I let them take the torch and they really enjoyed finding their own scorpions!!! It is surprising how many there are!

You need a UV Scorpion torch.....not very expensive, at most outdoor shops. Then quietly look in trees with rough bark especially, and in cracks and holes. They stand out in luminous green colours easily seen.

Just had a couple of ellies visiting. They hoovered up marulas outside on the road, wandered into the garden next door and then came into our area......I heard a noise and there was this huge grey body at the window! He got a fright when I moved and went out the gate again and watched me from the road.
