For all those who not yet experienced a Lower Sabie Bush Braai, it is an unforgettable experience and worth every cent you pay. It is a memory that will last a lifetime

Just and idea, if you have a look at When will I see Yellow Ribbons in Kruger you can see who will be in the same camps as you and may be able to contact them and see if they are wanting to do a bush braai as well.

Yellow ribbons are what we tie onto our drivers side mirrors when in the parks so we can recognise each other and meet up.

Lower Sabie do indeed do bush braai's.

In the meantime keep an eye on When will I see Yellow Ribbons in Kruger
If there are people booked at the same camp and time as you, you could contact them and they might be interested in joining in.
None at the moment but possibly nearer the time?
But also remember there might be others who will book at the camp before then so don't give up.

It seems the minimum numbers varies by camp. Satara are asking for a minimum of 6 whereas Mopani only require 4?

I'm paying for 2 phantom people to come on the braai I have requested just to make sure it goes ahead.

Satara Bush braai

Unread post by victoriavi » Fri Aug 11, 2017 8:03 pm

Hello,
My husband and I are celebrating our Honeymoon in SA and spend a week in Kruger.
We will be in Satara camp on the 5-6/10/17.

I got an E-mail from Satara camp, saying that they can only cater the minimum of six people, so we have to find at least 4 more guests that will be interested.

so... anyone else is thinking about Bush-braaing on these dates? 8)

Warm welcome to the forum victoriavi!

Firstly congratulations on your marriage and what a great way you have chosen to start your married life!
I do hope you will be able to go on the bush braai as its a wonderful experience.
Do ask as soon as you check in at the camp as there may very well be others who have put their names down for those dates.
Good luck!

A warm welcome to the Forum victoriavi.
You certainly have chosen a wonderful place to enjoy your honeymoon.
Just some extra information for you...you have the choice to PM ..(personal message)any of the moderators with the dates and places you will be spending in the Kruger.
This information will then appear under When will I see Yellow Ribbons in Kruger NP
Just by posting your dates, other people visiting Satara will be made aware that you will be there at the same time and visa versa.

Marion, you can also ask for your dates to be posted in the When will I see Yellow Ribbons in the Kruger see this link viewtopic.php?f=69&t=33456

You just need to send a PM or personal message to Jazil one of the Forums moderators. In this way,you can see who may be visiting Letaba camp at the same time as you are. Also checkout the Countdown Thread as well.

I do hope you get that 4th person to join you for a Bush Braai :gflower:
