As Imberbe has explained on the previous page, its not only a guide line but to protect yourself and other trailists from perhaps someone who is not as fit and or healthy as they should be for such an activity.

Not a question, but something about trails in general; In his book "Kruger, a Supreme African Wilderness" Bruce Aiken quoted former ranger Johan Kloppers,

"In my opinion, the greatest value of wilderness trails is their therapeutic value. Man was once a hunter/gatherer, and lived in a natural environment with its harmony and natural cycles. I believe we have a deep-seated or subconscious desire to return to the peace and harmony of that environment"

Question on the return for the Sweni trail, It says the return is after breakfast. Will I need to book Satara for that evening or will the trail return in time for me to hightail it over to Tamboti?

You will have more than enough time to reach Tamboti.
