Skukuza Bush Braai

Unread post by mjtoncc » Tue Aug 08, 2017 10:11 pm

I read on trip advisor that at one time there were organized bush braais offered in KNP. Is this still done? And if so at Skukuza? I couldn't find anything on the website except for a picture of a dining table. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a group of 13 people that want to go for a bush braai at Satara on November 17th and have tried and tried to get a response from Satara but to no avail! Has anyone had any issues with booking at Satara?

Hi,
There is a minimum number of participants required.
We are just 2 but have been on Bush Braai by answering an "advert" on the Forum from a couple in Australia whose dates in Skukuza coincided with ours.
We ended up with 4 from Austrailia, us from UK and a couple from Italy. We , I think, phoned Sanparks to pay our portion but the Austrailians kindly sorted it for the Italians who didn't think their English was good enough to sort it out for themselves. They then settled up once in the camp. We'd exchanged the unit numbers we were staying in once we'd arrived in Skukuza by email/text and met up for a coffee earlier in the day. Just shows how friendly Kruger makes everyone.
Hope you manage to organise one to go on.
