The webcam is about to be moved a bit closer to the waterhole this morning. It will thus be down for a while. It will be up and online again shortly!

We apologise for the inconvenience caused (e.g. withdrawal symptoms for not having the cam for the next hour or so!)

The webcam is still being fine-tuned. I have degraded the image further during this test phase..will soon be back to normal quality.

The person you saw on the camera was our technician at Orpen (Beneth) aligning and positioning the cam while talking to me on the cellular phone. Almost done!

Webcam has been relocated successfully (closer to the waterhole) and everything is back to normal again.

(Thanks Beneth and the team at Orpen who did all the physical work - digging, trenching, etc)

Enjoy the closer look!
