The water level seems to be taking a lot longer to drop than it did a few weeks ago - maybe because it is not as hot there now? (note - keeping on topic here :wink: )

I go for jackal too. I've seen more of them on cam than in all my visits too KNP combined! :lol:

Not sure that its a civet - maybe the rattel again? Something at the back right now again but can't tell if its the jackal or something larger?

Don't think it's a ratel... have seen those at far side of the wh and the white back is much brighter.
There was another frame showing what looked like fluffy white tail and made me think w-t mongoose at first, but not sure if it had the right size. The distance is tricky, esp. when it's dark.
