Chacma, I did not know an Impala Lily is also called a star tree. I’ve always thought of it as more of a small shrub if anything. Nor did I know it is endangered. Always good to learn something new

The tree I have in mind has the botanical name Cliffortia arborea It was named among some other interesting facts about a specific SANPark.

What an interesting looking tree the Star Caperose or Star Tree (Cliffortia arborea) is Dream Weaver! Looking it up on Wikipedia, it says that it is found in the Hantamberg Ranges, so I am going to venture that the SANPark is Tankwa Karoo NP?

I have checked the flora list for Tankwa Karoo NP and I can’t see it listed. It is specifically listed as being found in another SANPark though.

In which SANPark can you find the site of the wine cellar that was the biggest in the country in 1920?

I have a feeling it has to be Table Mountain NP. Somewhere in Constantia / Tokai where wine has been produced for a long time
