Binocular recommendations

Unread post by richtravel »

Hi,

We visit Kruger every few years and I have a few pairs of Bushnell 10x42 binoculars which serve us well.
I’m thinking of buying one more stronger pair like a 10x50 or 12x50 or 15x56.
Does anyone have any thoughts on stronger binoculars and any recommendations?

Thanks

Hello richtravel :D
Between two son-in-laws and myself (they are both from military backgrounds) we have 10 x 42 -the 10 x 50 and the 12 x 50 Bushnell and Tasco brands
Not a lot of difference in general performance - we tried them out in Kruger - for birding 12 x 50 was better imo
Military boys said if you have the money spend it on Swarovski any size —glass quality is primo

Al the best colbol
