Buy the wild card online

Unread post by [email protected] »

How long does it take to receive the confirmation email of the wild card purchased online that allows me to enter the parks?

At the entrance to the parks is it necessary to show the printout of the wild card purchase email , or is it possible to show the confirmation email with a smartphone or tablet?

Welcome to the forum Leone

The confirmation e-mail should happen almost immediately when the transaction is completed successfully.
But as long as you have a confirmation payment on some device with a W/c number that should suffice at the offices of the camp or the gate.

Warm welcome to the forum, Leon.

I can attest that I received my Wild Card Purchase Letter that had all the pertinent information on it (who I am, when I got it, type of card, etc) minutes after ordering my card online. I just printed it out and brought it along. No issues at all getting into the park or checking into camps! You shouldn't have any problems showing in on your device.

Hi it has been over 5 years since my last post as my planned trip to Kruger was like many abandoned due to Covid. Anyhow finally ready to go, flights booked but cannot get the website to go past initial page when trying to purchase wild card and book accommodation. Is anyone in a position to advise on the status of the booking site as google chrome is saying the issue is with the host server

Glad you are planning another trip after so many years LeeuwinArt2016. 8)

Sorry you are having issues trying to log in to book your accommodation.

I am not using Chrome but have just logged into the On line web site with no problems.
Maybe try a different search engine?

Also Wildcard
But you can also buys your wild card once you arrive in the park.

Have got the accommodation sorted 👊 though there are some vagaries with the booking process as was unable to book through to proposed checkout date which had a 0 even though it states quite clearly on the website that you can
I believe my issue with buying a wildcard is that my old profile may be being duplicated as this is apparently an issue the tech staff are investigating since the site upgrade.
Anyhow I’m sure it will be sorted and our booking is very close to what we had booked in 2020
