question on day visiting with a packed car

I want to travel via Malelane gate to Crocodile gate inside the park (will sleep outside for a few nights) before coming back in to sleep a few nights in the park. My car will be loaded with meat and Alcohol. How does it work with the rules on day visitors and Alcohol ? I don't plan to open any drinks just carry it in my car to my destination outside

Lovely to do the drive through the park on your first day en route to our outside accommodation.
The meat will not be a problem but unfortunately the rules do not allow alcohol through for day visitors.
You can take a chance and tie it up securely and appeal to the security officers but there is still a strong possibility that they will not allow it.
My only other advice would be is to buy the alcohol in Komatipoort once out the Croc Bridge gate before heading to your accommodation.
