GGHNP N1 or N3 from JHB?

GGHNP N1 or N3 from JHB?

Visiting GGHP for the first time this week.
GPS says there are two routes, eventually converging just near Reitz.
One is the N1 that goes through Sasolburg\Heilbron, the other is the N3 via Villiers\Frankfort.
Which one is better? Time wise they are the same according to the GPS.
