Lesser Swamp Warbler
Eyebrow much more prominent than Common Reed Warbler and at this time of year the most common Warbler to be found in reedbeds along water

Many thanks Ross. Just didn't sound like the Lesser Swamp Warbler whose usual call is unmistakable.

I am quite amazed I have never heard the Lesser Swamp Warbler making that chuck call in all the years of seeing them.

Did you have a look at Large-billed Lark? Back is quite pale by the looks of things for Black-eared Sparrowlark?
